Acceptable Use Policy — PFP Profile

Who This Policy Applies To

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to everyone who uploads a photograph or requests generated content through PFP Profile ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the service you agree to this Policy in addition to our Terms of Use.

Photo Ownership and Permission

You must own the photograph you upload, or have explicit written permission from the person depicted in it to use their likeness for AI-generated profile pictures.

By uploading a photograph you represent and warrant that:

• You are the photographer or the subject of the photograph, or you hold a valid licence or written consent from the subject to use their image for this purpose.
• The photograph does not depict a person who has not consented to having their likeness processed by an AI image-generation service.
• You are not uploading a photograph obtained through deception, theft, or any other unlawful means.

Prohibited Uses

The following uses are strictly prohibited. Submitting a request that falls into any of these categories may result in the request being refused, the session being terminated, and access to the service being revoked.

Fraud and Impersonation

You may not use PFP Profile to create images intended to impersonate another person — including creating a profile picture that falsely represents you as someone else for the purpose of deceiving others about your identity.

Identity Theft

You may not use generated images to assume or misrepresent the identity of another individual in any context — online or offline — including on social media platforms, messaging applications, professional networks, or any other service.

Harassment

You may not use generated images to harass, intimidate, bully, stalk, or threaten any individual. This includes creating images designed to humiliate, demean, or cause emotional distress to a specific person.

Illegal or Abusive Content

You may not request or use generated images in connection with any activity that is illegal under applicable law, or that facilitates abuse, exploitation, or harm to any person.

Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery

You may not use PFP Profile to create, distribute, or facilitate the creation or distribution of intimate, sexual, or nude imagery of any real person without their explicit, informed, and ongoing consent. This prohibition applies regardless of whether the source photograph is intimate in nature.

Sexual Content Involving Minors

The generation of any sexual, suggestive, or exploitative content involving minors (persons under the age of 18) is absolutely prohibited. PFP Profile will refuse any request that appears to involve a minor in a sexual or exploitative context and may report such requests to the appropriate authorities.

False Evidence

You may not use generated images to fabricate, falsify, or misrepresent evidence in any legal, regulatory, journalistic, or official proceeding. This includes creating images intended to be presented as authentic photographs of events that did not occur.

Deceptive Political Impersonation

You may not use generated images to impersonate a political candidate, elected official, government representative, or public figure for the purpose of spreading disinformation, influencing elections, or deceiving the public about the views, statements, or actions of that person.

Unauthorized Celebrity Generation

You may not upload a photograph of a celebrity, public figure, or well-known individual and request a generated image for the purpose of creating deceptive content, fake endorsements, misleading social media profiles, or any other use that could damage the reputation or violate the rights of that person.

Copyrighted Character Requests

You may not request generated images that reproduce, closely imitate, or are substantially derived from copyrighted fictional characters, mascots, or other protected creative works owned by third parties. This includes characters from films, television, video games, comics, and other media.

Results May Vary

AI image generation is a probabilistic process. PFP Profile does not guarantee that any generated result will:

• Perfectly or accurately resemble the person depicted in the source photograph.
• Match a specific artistic style, color palette, or composition exactly as described.
• Be free from visual artifacts, distortions, or unexpected elements.
• Meet any particular standard of quality, likeness, or artistic merit.

Generated results are provided as-is. You should review each result before using it and should not rely on any generated image as an accurate or authoritative representation of any real person.

Right to Refuse Requests

PFP Profile reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or decline to process any request at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Requests that appear to violate this Policy or our Terms of Use.
• Requests that our systems or staff identify as potentially harmful, unsafe, or abusive.
• Requests involving content that our AI provider declines to generate.
• Requests that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be inconsistent with the intended purpose of the service.

We are not obligated to explain the reason for any refusal.

Reporting Violations

If you believe that content generated through PFP Profile has been used in violation of this Policy — including non-consensual intimate imagery or content involving minors — please contact us immediately at [email protected].

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy at any time. Continued use of PFP Profile after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. The date at the bottom of this page reflects the most recent revision.
